單車掉鏈有好幾個原因，如影片52T單速牙盤落鏈的話，一般是牙盤的護盤爛掉，轉檔時鏈條跳動就容易掉鏈，或後變速器調整不正確。

第二種情況是牙盤是兩速或三速轉檔時落鏈，原因大多是牙盤變速器調整不正確，如調整後在高速踏行時依舊掉鏈，可買防掉鏈器。
